Minca, Waterfall and Coffee Experience

We begin a 20-minute walk, passing the river until we reach Cascada Escondida, which has a 25-meter-high waterfall. Here you can enjoy a refreshing bath of waters from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. At noon, you can enjoy a delicious lunch from the house, amidst trees that reach 30 meters high, listening to the sound of the birds and the river making its way in search of the Caribbean Sea.

We continue a 40-minute walk, in the middle of the tropical humid forest. On this tour we will teach you the importance of guadua for the conservation of the roads that connect the different sectors of the mountain range. We resume the journey by car, and then begin a 20-minute walk each way, along ecological trails until we reach the La Victoria coffee farm, where you can learn the harvesting, production, storage processes and taste a cup of coffee. At the end we will return by car along the same route.

Note: Medium level hike of difficulty.

• Wear trekking shoes or tennis shoes with good grip, appropriate for hiking along trails, waterfalls or rivers.
• Bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, personal care items, repellent and glasses.
• Quick-drying, low-volume towel.
