Lost City tour 3 days

1 DAY - STARTING AN ADVENTURE IN THE MIDDLE OF NATURE

6:00 am: We will pick you up where you are staying. From our office or directly from the pick-up point we leave by jeep on a journey of approximately 2 and a half hours to the Mamey village (also known as Machete Pelao); there we will have breakfast and then we will start our walk of approximately 7.6 km (4.7 miles) we will pass through the first Adam or Alfredo cabin continuing to the second cabin «Wiwa» Where we will have lunch. After lunch we will continue along the path to the third «Paradise» camp where we will spend the night. During this tour we will enjoy natural pools offered by the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta and in which we can take a wonderful bath that will make it more pleasant to continue the walk. The accommodation is usually in beds with mosquito nets, these include blankets for warmth at night.

2 DAY - LOST CITY

This day we arrive at Teyuna; We will climb 1200 steps and as we go forward we will find terraces built over a thousand years ago, until finally reaching the archaeological remains that were the foundations of the main settlement of the disappeared Tayrona culture. During this guided tour we will know more about Lost City and enjoy the landscape that nature offers us. It is possible  to enjoy a swim in the well of youth, a place that according to legend, has wonderful properties. After the tour you will descend to Paraiso Teyuna to have lunch and then start the walk to the place where we will spend the third night: the "Wiwa" cabin. In this we will live an experience of cultural exchange and this approach will allow us to know its worldview, lifestyle and crafts.

3 DAY - END OF THE ADVENTURE

In this wonderful adventure we can enjoy throughout the tour of the rivers, waterfalls and swimming pools that nature gives us; During the tours we take breaks to contemplate the landscape, hydrate and eat fresh fruits and at night in each camp the guide organizes short meetings with his group to give some information.
